Ivana Filová
Date of Birth: 2th September 1973 in Banská Bystrica (Slovakia)Nationality: Slovakian I have been interested in skiing, climbing and mounteineering since my high school study.
In 1990 I have begun my activity in mountains as a speleo alpinist and latter (1992) as a climber and ski alpinist.In the year 1993 I reached my first considerable achievement – as a first female she has descended at the bottom
of the deepest cave of Poland - the Jaskinia Wielka Sniezna cave (depth 750 m, length 20 km).I have climbed a number mountaineering and ski descent in the Tatra Mountains, as well as in the Alps.Recently I have addicted myself to extreme skiing in the Vysoke Tatry Mountains and in the Alps.In May 2003 I have skied the Pallavicini couloir in the North Face of the Grossglockner.
In March 2006 I injured in a big avalanche (Bulgaria - Rila). However I started a new ski season in December 2007.
